This is the first of a series of workbooks my son and I are putting together, to help educate children about countries, which they hear about on the news but have little knowledge about beyond the headlines.

We live in a multicultural world, yet most educational curriculums taught around the world tend to focus on key global economic players or their own country. This series creatively tries to teach children about the food, geography, history, sports and general knowledge about different countries. Each book is themed and based on one country.

 I have used the assistance of my son to curate this series to ensure that it maintains a child friendly approach. Over the next few months we will be covering Palestine, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq and Israel with more countries down the line to come.

The workbooks have been designed to appeal to an age group of 8-13 year olds.
