Inspiration behind the scents
All the scents in the collection are inspired by different cultural aspects of Pakistan & developed from nostalgic memories I have of the country. Details behind the inspiration can be found in the relevant pages for each of the scents.
Due to popular demand and consumer requests, I launched my customers favourite scents as a Eau de Parfum.
- Punjab da Gulab (Tuberose & Orange Leaves),
- Chambeli Ka Phool (Jasmine & Honeysuckle)
- Walled City of Lahore (Luxury Red Roses)
The perfumes are alcohol free & come in 50ml bottles packaged in a lovely velvet pouch, so it's easier to carry around & kinder to the environment as it requires no disposal. However they made using a thick oil, so please avoid using on clothes as they may stain.
Please note that I only have the peach pouch left, the Olive & Blue are sold out.
Being Socially Responsible & Sustainable
The pouches have been made by the local women in Vietnam, supporting local female entrepreneurs and providing work for the women who work in the local farming districts. These women are paid fairly and there is no child labour involved. All dyes used are environmentally friendly and natural. By using these pouches instead of boxes, it provides an income stream for the women hence giving back to society and ensures there is no rubbish to go into the landfills.

Each Sikhana personal care product is one step in a four-step heritage ritual, inspired by the fragrance traditions of Pakistan and the Middle East. Choose the same scent at each step, where it's available, and it will stay with you for longer.
Step 1
Bathe
Soak in Sikhana Bath Salts to open the pores and prepare your skin.
Step 2
Oil
Smooth Sikhana Body Oil into warm, damp skin as your fragrant base layer.
Step 3
Perfume
Press a Roll-On or Solid Perfume to your pulse points, or mist with a Body Mist.
Step 4
Finish
Smooth Sikhana Hand Lotion into your hands as a nourishing final layer.
