The Sethi Mohalla of Peshawar is one of Pakistan’s most extraordinary architectural treasures — a World Heritage Site of seven ornate havelis built by the Sethi merchant dynasty in the 19th century. Intricate frescoes, carved wooden balconies, and courtyards that whisper of silk trade routes, of caravans arriving from Central Asia, of a family whose influence stretched from Peshawar to Russia.
This fragrance is personal. Sikhana’s founder Saadia is a descendant of the Sethi dynasty, and this candle was created to honour her mother’s ancestry and the city that shaped her family’s story. The label is crafted to reflect the seven architectural wonders of the Sethi Mohalla. Every detail is intentional. Every note is chosen with love.

Although not a scent synonymous with Pakistan, it hopes to conjure up the feeling of being there with fresh notes and the design.
Top notes comprise of Eucalyptus, bergamot with a middle note of gardenia and a base note of musk.

The 9cl votive burns for approximately 16 hours. The 30cl candle burns for approximately 35 hours. For best results, burn for 3–4 hours on the first use to create an even melt pool.

It is made from paraffin wax, chosen deliberately for its superior scent throw. All fragrance ingredients are sourced from the same supplier as Jo Malone, with the maximum permitted fragrance load applied.

How do I care for my Sikhana candle?
Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting. On the first burn, allow 3–4 hours for an even melt pool. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish when 5mm of wax remains. Keep away from children, pets and draughts.
